How do I love thee, Cali OG Kush Haze? Let me count the ways… Piney, a little lemon, uplifting, great for getting things done, my go-to favorite for daytime enjoyment. Not a high yielder for me, but what it does produce is quality smoke. Germination was 4 out of 5. I cloned some shoots from my indoor grow to grow outside with the same results, not a big yielder, but tasty and potent.

Very easy to grow and a hardy plant. The effect of this strain on me was it made my head feel ‘boxed in’. But, to each it’s own. This strain is so hardy, it lived outside while being covered up with snow. There’s a grow journal on it, just visit my journal @ 420 magazine. “John’s Wicked New Grow” Also grown in this journal is CKS: White Widow auto and my favorites, CKS, Lamb’s Breath and CKS, Cali OG Kush Haze. Come take a look at the nute’s that were grown to go all these fantastic strains by CKS. You’re all invited. I do recommend this hardy strain, but it just work out for my chemistry, that’s all.

Good yield, easy grow, however widely varying pheno’s. Once I sorted out what was what with the different phenotypes I was able to clone semi-consistent batches. I will also mention that I did get a hermaphrodite in one batch of this strain of seeds. I almost missed it but when the buds failed to fatten up like the others in the grow I got to looking closely and luckily found the pollen sacs early in their development and was able to kill the plant before it dropped a bunch of pollen. No big deal cause I caught it. It really surprised me, I’ve been growing prolly 20 years and never had a hermie before so I’m certain it was the seed. Just watch for early to mid bloom pollen sacs in plants that show slowed bud growth in your grow. I would say the seeds are fine …. for people with a little more experience. I’d say stay away if you’re considering this strain for your first grow.

The Strain is very large you need to flower these as soon as the Clones are rooted my mother’s are about. 6 ..ft or more I waited too long probably two months to. Flip them to 12/12 the Clones are doing perfectly right after they acquired good solid rooting they’re about four feet 4..1/2 hight turn them around when they were about two feet so they tend to grow real fast I’m looking forward to this Harvest I had a decent germination rate to plants look different from the other two mothers maybe a mix. Match by accident who knows but they still look pretty potent Bud’s of tight firm and dense can’t wait to try it out Leaf structure is very big biggest fan leaves I’ve ever seen like three giant hands so you need to make sure you clip them so the bud sites can get that light I would clip halfway down the Plant leave the rest on until I got about 2 feet from the top
