What is White Widow Strain?

The South Indian Indica and Brazilian Sativa landraces are combined to create the White Widow Strain. After a long day, it delivers an intensely euphoric high that is perfect for relaxing. Anyone who dares to try it will be hit with a powerful mental vibration because of the clear indication of its THC content in the resin’s sticky, gluey consistency. The White Widow Strain won numerous awards, including an early High Times Cannabis Cup in 1995.

In the Copa Cannabica Del Plata that year, it came second. Since its release, it has also won a few other awards. White Widow Strain is highly prized in making hash since it was particularly bred for a high trichome count. This strain’s THC content ranges from 24.1% on average to phenotypes that are higher than that. This strain is an all-purpose longtime favorite and a great option for chatting in social situations. Because of its robust genetic foundation—a mix between South Asian and Brazilian landraces—White Widow has been a great plant for crossbreeding experiments.

Strain Effects

This cannabis kind is recognized for its fantastic time high that fosters creativity with bursts of bliss and energy. Even though the vibration is potent and lasts long, it isn’t overwhelming. Its hybrid form seamlessly blends the Indica and Sativa effects, producing a well-balanced high suited for most users. White Widow Strain is the best option for those who wish to unwind and unwind during the day without losing their vigor. Users at night want to unwind and feel peaceful without falling asleep. Because Sativa and Indica work together to balance one other, this strain is excellent for social gatherings. It promotes interaction and encourages conversation while allowing everyone a relaxed and comfortable attitude. While the cerebral high from the super-sticky strain can be intimidating in big dosages, it typically permits users to continue functioning and being aware of their surroundings.

Strain Aroma, Flavor & Appearance

White Widow Strain’s aroma is stinging, ammonia-like, with a hint of earthy pine. A more hashy, incense-like scent is released when buds are broken apart. You can detect a sandalwood flavor with undertones of lemon, pine, and fruity sweetness beneath the sugary crust. White Widow’s buds are large, tapering, and somewhat conical. The flower’s bud structure is more Sativa than Indica, with a loose, fluffy texture that, despite being sticky, can be broken up rather readily. The leaves have few visible pistils and are spring green in color. Successfully produced buds are covered in long-stalked trichomes, giving the strain a distinctive name-giving whitish-gray look.

Growing Information on White Widow Strain

You can cultivate White Widow from seed or a clone by replanting mature, healthy plant cuttings. Because of its mold resistance, it may be grown outdoors, albeit it thrives in an almost Mediterranean climate with consistent temperatures between 70 and 80 °F. For gardeners of all skill levels, from amateurs to experts, White Widow Feminized is a treat to grow. It is intriguing in every sense of the term with its bushy, dark green shadow foliage that turns deep plum when the temperatures drop. Its strong, dense roots support the large, thick colas that hang from its branches. The nugs are some of the most visually alluring you will ever see, being thick and thickly covered in icy trichomes.

Unlike many Indica plants, White Widow Fem can reach heights of up to 8 feet when planted outdoors. Although it prefers warm weather, this potential reaper can also tolerate frost. A large crop is assured if the buds are protected from harmful elements like mildew, mold, and pests. In a controlled environment, growers can restrict the plant’s upward stretch. Shortening its vegetative phase and using a smaller container can be trained to function in cramped areas. The screen of Green (ScrOG) and Sea of Green (SOG) setups are fantastic choices for assisting the plant to produce at its maximum potential. In 8 to 9 weeks of blossoming, it provides growers about 2.6 ounces of sticky buds for every square foot. Before the weather becomes too chilly and icy in the middle of October, it must be picked. If all goes according to plan, each plant will yield about 31 ounces.

Outdoor grow in Southern Ontario with four White Widows. Very small amount of bud rot and the harvest was at the end of October. Got 20 ounces from the four plants. This is the fourth year growing with Crop King seeds and very happy with the seeds and delivery.

White Widow 2021 grow Oklahoma., “legally licensed to grow 6 plants”. I grow an unorthodox method, a combination of soil and hydro… oxygen is constantly with the water…however 2 feet from the surface….these plants grew 11 feet plus high…have pics! thanx Crop King!

This strain has been manipulated so much throughout the years but Im happy to say these genetics were a winner. Started flower later than my other 2 strains but worth the wait.. white hairs stuck around right until week 8 before they changed colour but the fully frosted buds tell you its going to be good. Not the most dense buds I’ve seen but smoke is unique in flavour and hits very hard.. even fully dried it takes some work to bust as the trich content make this very sticky. No moisture issues and handled adverse conditions well. Would grow again.
